Gave the nested vms their own folder

Edit 350-Internal on ESXi host

Add DHCP to the Network

Setup DHCP on pfsense (Very straightforward)

Make ubuntu 22.04 vm and turn it into a template:

Find the VM Customization Specifications on the home page and create a customization called Ubuntu-22.04 Specification

After cloning output

Now create a rocky 8 vm and once through the installer install open-vm-tools

Deploy Rocky using template
